A brief sum on our history.


Our company, "Kassandra" by Ioannou, is one of the oldest companies actively engaged into fillo and kataifi pastry production and distribution. The experience gained through these years has estalbished us in the Greek as well as the international market.

The carefully chosen materials used for the perfect composition of our products and the strict timetable in the production line and distribution to our customers are the two main goals the company is striving for. Is what  we consider the key to success.

In 1924 Elias Ioannou, in the heart of the city of Thessaloniki in what was essentially a small basement, started a small production line of handmade fillo and kataifi pastry. With the few tools he had the production of fillo and kataifi was a very time and energy consuming proccess, something that didn't stop him in his continuous strive for quality. 

 

After moving into new facilities, one of if not the first mass production line of fillo and kataifi pastry in Greece with the close cooperation with expert food engineers and most of all the experience and strive for quality passed on from their father are the reasons the owners of the company, Stelios and Vasiliki Ioannou, have adapted to the greek and global market. In other words the lessons from past combined with the current technology have led us where we are.

Today, the next goal of our company is the technological evolution in the production and packaging line of our products, in order to compete with the rest of the market, offering complete and better solutions to our customers while keeping the quality standards high.
